Hip Hip Hooray, 4th of July is here! Yeah for Independence! Yeah for BBQs, picnics, swimming and a short work week! This quote by Erma Bombeck pretty much sums it up….
You have to love a nation that celebrates its independence every July 4,
not with a parade of guns, tanks, and soldiers who file by the White
House in a show of strength and muscle, but with family picnics where
kids throw Frisbees, the potato salad gets iffy, and the flies die from
happiness. You may think you have overeaten, but it is patriotism.

Mountain Graphics wishes you a safe and fun 4th of July Weekend. No matter how you celebrate, may it be filled with family, friends, lazy days, stuffed bellies and, of course, fireworks.
We had another beautiful Laurel Festival this past weekend on ‘The Green’ in Wellsboro. Held annually the 3rd week in June, the Laurel Festival represents the start of summer in our small town. Laurel Festival is one of my favorite times of the year and thankfully the rain held off for most of the weekend so everyone could enjoy the arts & crafts fair, parade, carnival and Queen’s Pageant. We’re proud to sell the official Laurel Fest t-shirt and not just because it gives us an excuse to hang out on the Green all weekend! This year’s design incorporated the infamous Wellsboro Gaslights with the silhouette of a town in the background. If you missed us on the Green but would still like a shirt, give us a call at 888.764.6450.
If you’re like us, Memorial Day marks the start of your summer camping season. However, since the nighttime temps can still dip down quite a bit, you’ll want to take along a Sweatshirt Blanket to keep warm throughout the evening. These large blankets measure 54″ x 84″…that’s long enough to cover the tallest person in your family. Made from cotton/fleece sweatshirt material, these blankets make it easy to cuddle up by the campfire with your loved ones! So, if you’re headed out camping this weekend, be sure to pack a Sweatshirt Blanket with the rest of your gear. You’ll be glad you did!
Here at Mountain Graphics we’re scrambling to get all of our wholesale orders out the door in time for Memorial Day. As this holiday marks the start of the summer vacation season, it’s always a busy one for the State Parks and Campgrounds that make up the majority of our customers. No matter how busy we are, we always take time to reflect on the true meaning of this holiday. Whether you’re attending a parade this weekend, or visiting a cemetery or memorial, we hope you’ll join us in honoring the men and women who have given their lives defending our great country. How do you celebrate Memorial Day?
