Triple the dirt, triple the fun…

As a company that makes clothing inspired by the outdoors, you might imagine we’re a bit crazy for the Great Outdoors ourselves.  We get really excited about outdoor events in our local community.  We’re proud to be supporting three races in the Wellsboro area this month.

The Laurel Classic Mountain Bike Challenge in Asaph takes place this Saturday September 7th. Hardcore riders can take part in the 22 mile long course, while beginners (like me!) do the 12 mile short course. Both courses offer lots of single track, tough hill climbs and gorgeous views. Here’s the shirt for this year’s race…

Here are a few pics from last year’s race. I know what you’re asking yourself… “where can I buy that adorable blue jersey“? Mountain Graphics, of course!

That very same day, and right next to the Mountain Bike Race, crazy people ultra runners can tackle 100 miles or 100 kilometers at the Pine Creek Challenge. This race takes place on the local Rail Trail which runs through the Pine Creek Gorge, aka the PA Grand Canyon. If you like running all day (and all night) through gorgeous scenery, this event is for you!

If Triathlons are more your style, the Step Outdoors TRYathlon takes place Septempber 21st at Hills Creek State Park. This is a Run (3 miles), Paddle (1.75 miles), Bike (8 miles) event which can be done solo or as part of a team. We’ve done this one as a team three times and I can attest to the fact that it’s a beautiful course and a lot of fun!

Good luck to everyone running, riding, or paddling in these events or in your hometown. See you out on the Trails!
